Opening studio and Outdoor Classes June 2nd, New Policies in Place!
We are so excited to reopen our doors this coming Tuesday, June 2nd. We are also excited to be offering outdoor classes at Memorial Park in Edgewater, also beginning June 2nd. We will be offering a modified schedule that can be found on our website, Facebook Page and MindBody. Some of you have reached out and are ready to get back to classes at Altitunes. We understand others may prefer to do music from home, so we will also be continuing our Online Facebook Live Classes Monday thru Saturdays at 10am.
For in person classes, we have enhanced safety protocols. We have the most amazing community, and we trust that together we can reopen in a safe and healthy way.
Please, if you are feeling sick, have a cough, fever, fatigue or difficulty breathing, do not come to class until you have self-quarantined for a minimum of 14 days, per CDC recommendations. If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 please do not come back to class until you have self-quarantined for 30 days.
Prior to your first in person class you will be required to sign a one time COVID-19 waiver.
We are limiting the amount of students in each class at Altitunes to 4 kids and their 1 adult. For our Outdoor classes there will be up to 9 kids able to register, along with their 1 or 2 adults, for class.
You MUST register online prior to class. Registration will be open right up until class begins if there are spots available. No drop-ins will be allowed at this time.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will be enforcing a new cancellation policy for classes at Altitunes and the Outdoor classes, due to our class sizes being reduced.
You must cancel a class reservation at least 2 hours prior to the class start time. There is no fee if you cancel before the 2-hour window. For a late-cancel or no-show, a single class will be deducted from your account.
Cancellations can only be made using MindBody or texting 303-995-5634.
There is no need to cancel Online Facebook Live classes.
Thank you for being considerate of other students.
We have always had high standards for a clean environment, and we are now cleaning instruments and high-contact points even more frequently. Instructors will use gloves to hand out and collect any instruments, using new gloves each time. Hand sanitizer will be available. Wash or sanitize your hands before class begins. Please leave personal items in your vehicle or in the cubbies in the front area of Altitunes.
Masks are required for adults.
The recommendations for kids are as follows (Colorado Department of Human Services)-
Children under the age of 3 should not wear masks if it encourages face touching. If masks cause discomfort or lots of face-touching for children 3-5, they should not be worn. It also states that if children of any age can't remove their masks without help, they shouldn't wear them.
To allow time for our staff to clean, entry into the studio will be allowed 5 minutes prior to the class start time. Please remain outside or in your vehicle until the appropriate time. Please be aware of social distancing while taking off shoes in the front area.
We ask that adults follow social distancing requirements as best they can during their in person classes. We do understand it may not be reasonable to ask kids to follow the social distancing requirements but we ask that you help guide them the safest way you can. After class, please allow for a few extra minutes so that we can all properly social distance while exiting.
We are doing our best to maintain a safe and healthy environment for us all. We look forward to being with you in an Online Facebook Live Class or an in person class at Altitunes or Memorial Park. We are here for you and appreciate you all!
